ISL 2018: Most awaited rivalries on board
The Hero Indian Super League, India’s most awaited sports rivalry is on board with ten teams; Kerala Blasters FC, Chennaiyin FC, Bengaluru FC, North East United FC, FC Goa, ATK, Mumbai City FC, Jamshedhpur FC, FC Pune City, and Delhi Dynamos FC.
ISL is considered as the most entertaining football league in India that engages millions of fans with its international quality. The main vision of the league focuses on producing talented Indian players to tie the boot for the national team. Top Industrialist and celebrities have invested for their teams in ISL, which makes it more engaging; I mean there are a group of fans who only support and promote a team, just because it’s been franchised by their favorite celebrity.
The 2018-19 edition is the fifth season of the league, which started off in 2013. The inaugural winner of ISL 2014 was ATK, where second season title goes to Chennaiyin FC and again we saw ATK reclaiming trophy in the third season, while fourth season Chennaiyin FC won their second victory in four years.
Last year we saw new teams and new players marking their place in ISL, well this year let’s see what changes have bought in teams and players. This season fans have the opportunity to spectate thrilling match every day of the week until December 16, where season closes of Asia Cup groundings.
