Mind Sports: Rule your mind
Mind Sports are sports known as the game of skill where one’s intellectual ability compete with his competitor’s. Mind games like Chess, Go, Rubik’s Cube, Sudoku, Puzzles, Bridge and other card games are few among many other intellectual games, surprisingly some of the games were discovered 1500 years ago.
According to several studies, mind sports offers valuable addition in mind development, especially in kids as their age needs mental discipline more which would benefit their future growth. This would help in building self-confidence and also improves their thinking, concentration, problem-solving skills, creativity, and memory. But don’t get misguided by the notion that mind games are just for smarties or nerds, everyone can play as it is a smooth mental exercise.
IMSA, International Mind Sports Association is an association of world governing bodies for mind games, they organize many events like World Mind Sports Games, Sports Accord World Mind Games and so on to make aware and increase participation among people.
Playing mind games is certainly far better than any e-games, therefore it should be made accessible to everyone regardless of age to improve their cognitive abilities and discipline.
